Still Here

Yes, I am still around. Between the overtime and the switching from days to nights to days again, I have been out of the loop for the last 3 weeks.

In the few hours of wakefullness while at home I have managed to do one or two things. First, I have been doing a bit of updating to the house. Seems that whenever spring rolls around I get the itch to do so. So, I moved around the furniture and added a bit of cloth here and there to try and get a softer, country cottage/shabby chic look. (Cat in the foreground is Shadow, he is the baby)

I have also been working on the Grasshopper STR - finnished one. I again shortened the leg of the sock as this works best for me. (Weird angle taking the pic myself, but you ge the idea. Leg acutally comes up about 3 inches.

Sock #2 is on the needles and almost to turning the heal. Other than that the laundry, weeds, and spring cleaning are calling (screaming actually). As always, there is just Too Little Time!

Finally, this is Kitty Kat. He is my favorite.
