Well the sun has shined for 2 whole days and is suppose to for another 2 whole days, maybe spring is actually going to make an appearance? I won't hold my breath.
I'm tired of working on socks. So I decided to pick up another UFO and see if I could make headway. Its a baby outfit. No more for me thank you. It was actually started for a friend whos little one is now a year. Its a 9 mth. I've heard tell of some who put special things like this away for when they actually have a grandchild. Maybe. God help Lissa if she presents me with one anytime soon.
So STR ships next week. I hope I get my sock groove back as I don't want to fall behind. I have enought UFO/block of the months that I need to finnish with the quilting. Than again.... there's always retirement in 30 years.

I've gotten sock fatigue as well, although my new STR shipment has somewhat re-galvanized me! The colorway was so interesting. Thanks for your suggestion on my blog about what to do with the bad cotton ripple--I took your advice, found a clever, simple little pattern for washclothes, and have begun a whirlwind of knitting them. I have EIGHT so far. It's so easy and completely addictive! Everyone who sees them wants some, so the giant stash of sugar n' cream will go to good use. Really I can't thank you enough for saving me from loathesome afghan/stash guilt.
